The loads of junk files can put the
computer in trouble. They can slow the
computer down and also capture the unnecessary disk space. This is a big
problem because it provides a computer experience that is quite unpleasing. There
is no need to worry. With just the press of button, all the junk will be
eradicated.
When
you install or uninstall programs, pictures, or any other data bits of that
data get left behind as thumbnails and snippet of code, etc... When you browse
the internet (hope your using firefox: P), cookies, temp internet files, and
more garbage gets left behind on your PC. Windows does include a tool called
"disk cleanup" and while it does do a decent job, there is still much
more junk left behind.
Windows
over the time creates junk files that can bog the system down to a much greater
extent. Junk Cleaner cleans--
In your root directory:

Anything with the extensions *.TXT,
*.PRV, *.LOG, *.OLD, and *.- - -.
In your Windows directory:
·
Anything with the extensions *.LOG,
*.OLD, *.- - -, *.BAK, and *.000, *.001 (and so on...)
·
Any *.BMP and *.TXT files if
desired.
Anywhere on your system:
·
Other files that can be deleted
include MSCREATE.DIR (an absolutely useless hidden file created by Microsoft
installation programs)
